Chatton is a small Northumberland village in the Cheviot Hills, 8km from Wooler via the A697. Most reach it from the A1 at Alnwick, then north on the A697 for 25km. It's popular with walkers exploring Northumberland National Park and visitors to nearby Chillingham Castle. The village features Chatton Park House, an 18th-century mansion where Sir Walter Scott once stayed whilst researching Border history.
