Chastleton

England

England

Chastleton is a small Cotswolds village in north Oxfordshire, just off the A436 between Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold. Most visitors arrive via the M40 and A34, or the A44 from Birmingham through Evesham. The village sits on elevated ground near the Warwickshire border, surrounded by typical Cotswold countryside. Chastleton House, a superb Jacobean mansion from 1612, features England's oldest playable croquet lawn.
