Chartham

England

England

Chartham is a Kent village five miles southwest of Canterbury, positioned where the A28 meets rural lanes in the Great Stour valley. The A28 provides direct access from Canterbury and continues toward Ashford, whilst the A252 offers an alternative western approach. The village serves both local commuters and longer-distance travellers on the London-to-coast corridor. St. Mary's Church houses exceptional 13th-century wall paintings discovered in the 1960s.
