Charlecote lies in south Warwickshire between Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, reached via the A429 or A4390 from Stratford. The village sits beside the River Avon in typical Midlands countryside, with the M40 providing longer-distance access through Warwick. Charlecote Park's Elizabethan mansion famously connects to Shakespeare, who supposedly poached deer here in the 1580s.
