Chaldon perches on the North Downs in Surrey, offering excellent views across the Weald from its chalky hilltop position. Access is via the A23 through Coulsdon, with the M25 providing connections for longer journeys. Popular local routes include Caterham for shopping and transport links, whilst Gatwick Airport lies 15km southeast. The village church houses a stunning 12th-century wall painting of the Ladder of Salvation.
