Catthorpe marks the meeting point of the M1, M6, and A14 at one of Britain's busiest motorway junctions. This Leicestershire village sits beneath the sprawling Catthorpe Interchange, where traffic streams between London, Birmingham, Cambridge, and beyond. Despite handling millions of vehicles annually, the original village maintains its rural character just beyond the motorway bridges. The interchange required demolishing part of the historic settlement when constructed in the 1990s, fundamentally reshaping this once-quiet farming community.
