Catterline is a clifftop fishing village 10km south of Stonehaven on Aberdeenshire's coast. Take the A90 from Aberdeen then coastal roads, or the scenic route via Stonehaven. The village gained fame through artist Joan Eardley, who painted local children and seascapes from her cottage here in the 1950s.
