Catherington is a Hampshire village between Portsmouth and Petersfield, reached via Junction 2 of the A3(M) and the B2149. It's become a popular spot for those wanting countryside living with excellent motorway links to London and Southampton, whilst remaining close enough to Portsmouth for daily commuting. The 12th-century All Saints church boasts a remarkable Norman doorway with original zigzag stone carvings.
