Carrowdore sits on the Ards Peninsula about 25km east of Belfast, reached via the A2 coastal road through Bangor or directly on the A20 Portaferry Road. The town serves as a central point for exploring the peninsula's coastal villages like nearby Millisle and Greyabbey. With around 30 fast EV chargers in the area, it's well-positioned for the scenic peninsula loop drive. The town sits near the geographic center of this narrow land bridge between Strangford Lough and the Irish Sea.
