Carntyne is a residential district in Glasgow's East End, easily reached via Junction 12 of the M8 onto the A80 Cumbernauld Road. The area developed around former railway works and retains its working-class character. With over 350 EV charging points nearby and excellent bus links along the main roads, it's well-connected to central Glasgow and the wider motorway network. The red sandstone parish church spire from 1906 remains the area's most recognisable landmark.
