Carnlough lies on the A2 Antrim Coast Road, roughly 50km north of Belfast via the M2 and A8. The village makes an ideal stop on the Causeway Coastal Route, with the dramatic Glens of Antrim as a backdrop. Around 16 fast chargers serve electric vehicles touring the coast. The village is renowned for its Victorian limestone harbour, connected to the old quarries by a distinctive stone railway bridge that spans the main road.
