Carminish occupies Harris's southern coast in the Outer Hebrides, reached via the A859 from Tarbert after the ferry crossing from Skye. The settlement sits amongst several small communities served by this main island route, with approximately 7 EV charging points available locally. At low tide, you can walk across to the tidal island of Ensay, where ancient cultivation ridges still mark the landscape.
