Cark is a small Cumbrian village on the Cartmel Peninsula between Morecambe Bay and the Lake District fells. Reach it via the A590 from Kendal or Barrow, or the A5087 from Grange-over-Sands. The village has its own railway station on the Furness Line, unusual for such a small settlement.
