Carbrain forms part of Cumbernauld new town in North Lanarkshire, sitting between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Reach it via the A80 and M80 from Glasgow (30-40 minutes) or M8 from Edinburgh. The area has over 100 EV charging points nearby. The name derives from Gaelic "càrr brèagha" meaning "beautiful rock," after the rocky outcrop overlooking Kelvin Valley.
