Caragh sits along the Ring of Kerry where the N70 meets the Atlantic, perfectly positioned between Dingle Bay and the Iveragh Peninsula. The village connects easily to Killorglin (8km) and Cahersiveen (15km), with most visitors arriving via the scenic N72 from Killarney through Killorglin. Cork is about 100km away via the N22 and N72, while Dublin requires roughly 350km on the M7 and M20. Seven public fast chargers support electric vehicles touring the Ring. Caragh Lake creates such perfect mountain reflections on still days that photographers regularly mistake the mirror image for the actual peaks, an optical trick that's fooled visitors for generations.
