Camphill lies in the Dee Valley just outside Aberdeen, connected to the city center by the A93 North Deeside Road. Most journeys involve commuting into Aberdeen or accessing the A90 for longer trips south. The area enjoys a sheltered position along the River Dee, with over 100 EV charging points available nearby. The settlement takes its name from the prominent hill overlooking the valley.
