Cairness lies in rural Aberdeenshire, about 40 miles north of Aberdeen via the A90 and A952. This small farming settlement sits just inland from the Moray Firth amongst rolling agricultural land. The area has roughly 9 EV charging points nearby, mainly around larger villages. The local red sandstone farmhouses, built from quarried stone, give buildings their distinctive warm russet colour.
