Cairnbaan lies along the Crinan Canal between Lochgilphead and Crinan, accessible via the A816 from Glasgow (about 100km through Loch Lomond and Inveraray). The village sits amongst rolling Argyll hills with approximately 4 EV charging points nearby. Lock 5 of Thomas Telford's 1801 Crinan Canal operates here, allowing boats to bypass the Mull of Kintyre.
