Byram is a former mining village in West Yorkshire, positioned along the A645 between Knottingley and Ferrybridge. The village sits in the Aire Valley with good connections to Junction 33 of the M62 motorway, just 4 kilometres south. Local routes serve nearby industrial sites and communities, whilst the M62 provides access to Leeds and the wider Yorkshire network. The area offers approximately 100 public EV charging points. Byram's most recognisable feature is its proximity to Ferrybridge power station's distinctive cooling towers, visible across the valley.
