Byermoor is a small County Durham village perched on elevated ground west of Gateshead, about 10 miles from Newcastle. Access is via the A692 or A693 from the A1(M) at Junction 67, with local routes connecting to Burnopfield and Marley Hill. The area has over 300 EV charging points nearby, particularly around Gateshead's retail parks. The village sits close to the historic Tanfield Railway and the world's oldest surviving railway bridge, Causey Arch.
