Burwick is a small ferry terminal at the southern tip of South Ronaldsay, connected to mainland Scotland via the A961 and Churchill Barriers. The village serves ferries to John o' Groats and provides access to the ancient Tomb of the Eagles, a 5,000-year-old burial chamber overlooking the Pentland Firth.
