Burghclere lies in Hampshire's chalk downland between Newbury and Basingstoke, reached via the A34 and A343. The village offers good access to both the M4 corridor and southern routes, with ample EV charging in nearby towns. It's famous for the Sandham Memorial Chapel, entirely covered in Stanley Spencer's remarkable First World War murals.
