Burcote is a small Shropshire settlement on the A464 between Wolverhampton and Bridgnorth, about 8 miles from either town. It sits amongst typical Midlands countryside of gentle hills and agricultural land. The area has good EV charging coverage with over 60 fast chargers nearby, including at RAF Cosford. The name derives from "fortified cottage," and several 18th-century red-brick farmhouses still dot the landscape.
