Budby is a quiet Nottinghamshire village just off the A614, perfectly placed for exploring Sherwood Forest and the historic Dukeries estates. Most visitors arrive from Junction 30 of the M1 via the A616, or directly along the A614 from Nottingham or the A1. The 12th-century church of St. Michael houses a remarkably preserved Norman tympanum showing Christ in majesty.
