Buckingham is a historic market town in north Buckinghamshire, positioned between the Chilterns and Northamptonshire borders. The A413 provides the main north-south route through town, connecting Aylesbury to Towcester, whilst the A421 links Milton Keynes eastward to Banbury and the M40. Most visitors arrive via M40 junction 10 or from Milton Keynes, with over 150 fast charging points supporting electric vehicle travel. The town's working 18th-century gaol operates as a museum with original cells intact.
