Buckabank lies in Cumbria's Eden Valley, a few kilometres north of Carlisle amongst the gentle farmland that rolls toward the Scottish border. Most visitors arrive via Junction 44 off the M6, then follow the A7 northbound before turning onto local roads. The area has over 40 EV charging points for the growing number of electric vehicles. The nearby Roman bath house at Castlesteads fort still shows its original underfloor heating system intact.
