Bryansford

Northern Ireland
Bryansford lies between the Mourne Mountains and the coast, serving as a base for exploring County Down's finest scenery. The A50 connects it to Newcastle (4km) and Castlewellan (5km), whilst the A24 from Belfast provides the main approach route. Mountain roads lead directly into the Mournes from the town centre, including the path to Silent Valley reservoir. The town sits at the base of Slieve Donard, Northern Ireland's highest peak, whose summit trail begins right from the village centre.
