Brookfoot lies in the Calder Valley between Halifax and Bradford, easily reached via Junction 25 of the M62. The A644 runs through nearby Brighouse, connecting to Bradford and Leeds, whilst the A641 provides the main north-south route. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 250 public fast chargers in the vicinity. The village sits beside the Calder and Hebble Navigation, where Brookfoot Lock remains one of the few working locks on this restored 18th-century canal.
