Broadstairs

Broadstairs is a classic Kent seaside town on the Isle of Thanet, reached via the M2 and A299 from London or the A28 from Canterbury. The Victorian resort features sandy beaches, clifftop walks, and Georgian terraces, with good rail links to the capital. Charles Dickens wrote parts of several novels at Bleak House, which still overlooks Viking Bay from its dramatic clifftop position.
