England
Brixton Hill occupies elevated ground in south London, accessible via the A23 which runs straight through to Westminster. The area sits between Brixton proper and Streatham, with the B223 climbing steadily uphill from Brixton station. Excellent bus links connect to Victoria and London Bridge, whilst the South Circular provides east-west connections. The distinctive Ritzy Cinema, operating since 1911, remains the area's most recognisable landmark with its original Edwardian barrel-vaulted ceiling intact.
