Britford is a small Wiltshire village 4km southeast of Salisbury, reached via the A338. The A303/M3 route brings visitors from London, while the A36 connects from Bath. It's popular as a quieter alternative to main roads and provides access to MoD Boscombe Down. The Norman church contains remarkable Saxon stonework with pre-Conquest carved figures.
