Brimstage lies in the Wirral Peninsula between Liverpool and Chester, easily reached via Junction 4 of the M53 motorway. Local routes connect through Higher Bebington, whilst longer journeys from Manchester use the M56-M53 corridor. The village centres around Brimstage Hall, a 14th-century manor house that now operates as a working farm with craft workshops.
