Bridgemont lies along the A6 corridor between Manchester and Buxton, serving as a gateway to the Peak District's eastern edge. The A5004 from Buxton and local routes from Glossop provide the main access, whilst the B5470 connects daily commuters to Whaley Bridge and surrounding villages. Over 100 public EV charging points serve the area's growing tourist traffic. The town's Victorian railway viaduct remains its most distinctive feature.
