Breich

Breich is a small West Lothian village between the M8 and A71, about 25km from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Reach it via the A71 through Livingston from Edinburgh, or the M8 to Junction 4 then A801 from Glasgow. The area's former shale mining heritage shapes the reclaimed landscape around the Pentland Hills. The old Caledonian Railway station site recalls when branch lines served the local oil industry until the 1960s.
