Bramber

Bramber lies in the South Downs valley, accessed via the A283 between Steyning and Shoreham-by-Sea. Most visitors arrive from the A24 at Washington roundabout or from Brighton via the A27. The village sits beneath the ruins of an 11th-century Norman castle, whose gatehouse arch still spans the main street.
