Bournmoor

England

England

Bournmoor is a former mining village in County Durham, sitting between Sunderland and Chester-le-Street on elevated ground above the Wear valley. The A183 provides the main route to Sunderland (8km) and connects to the A1(M), whilst the B1284 and A693 serve local traffic to neighbouring settlements and Chester-le-Street. With over 400 EV charging points nearby, it's well-positioned for both local commuting and longer journeys. The village's 1926 miners' welfare hall still hosts community events today.
