Bouldon is a small Shropshire village reached via the A4117 from Ludlow, about 8km west. It sits beneath the Clee Hills near the Welsh border, surrounded by typical countryside hamlets like Diddlebury and Peaton. The 12th-century St. Bartholomew's church contains a remarkable medieval doom painting above the chancel arch.
