Bosham is a tidal village on Chichester Harbour, reached via the A259 coastal road from Chichester, just 6km north. The A27 provides the main east-west link for regional visitors, whilst Londoners typically use the A3 south then A27 west. Parking near the waterfront fills quickly, especially during high tides when seawater floods the lane. Holy Trinity Church famously appears in the Bayeux Tapestry as King Harold's departure point for Normandy.
