Boroughbridge commands the historic Great North Road crossing of the River Ure, perfectly positioned on the A1(M) at Junction 48. York's 25 kilometres southeast via the A59, whilst Harrogate lies southwest through pretty Dales countryside. The town serves as a natural gateway between Yorkshire's cities and Scotland, with over 50 EV charging points reflecting its role as a major travel hub. Most striking are the Devil's Arrows - three towering Bronze Age monoliths reaching 6.7 metres high.
