Boode lies in North Devon's coastal plain, easily reached via the A361 dual carriageway from the M5. Short hops to Braunton and nearby villages make this a hub for local traffic, whilst the A39 provides east-west connections along the coast. The city sits close enough to Royal Marines Base Chivenor that you'll often hear military helicopters training overhead.
