Boldre

England

England

Boldre is a New Forest village four kilometers north of Lymington, reached via the A337 from the M27 or southward from Lyndhurst. The village sits amongst ancient woodland where New Forest ponies graze freely, with narrow lanes connecting to nearby hamlets like Pilley and Battramsley. St. John the Baptist church contains a memorial to Lewis Carroll's father, who was rector here for over twenty years.
