Bodmin occupies elevated moorland in central Cornwall, about 30 miles from Truro via the A30 trunk road. The town sits at the junction of several key routes: the A389 runs through the centre toward Padstow, whilst the A391 heads south to St Austell. With roughly 70 EV charging points nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The former county jail, which held Cornwall's last public execution in 1909, now operates as a popular tourist attraction.
