Bodicote lies just off the A4260 south of Banbury, easily reached from Junction 11 of the M40. This former coaching village has expanded considerably whilst keeping its separate identity from neighbouring Banbury. The A4260 runs straight through from Oxford, about 30 kilometers south, whilst local routes connect to Bloxham and the surrounding villages. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 70 fast chargers nearby, mainly around Banbury's retail areas. The parish church of St. John the Baptist houses a remarkable 14th-century wooden knight's effigy, still bearing traces of its original medieval paintwork.
