Blurton forms part of Stoke-on-Trent's southern suburbs, easily reached via the A50 from the M6 at Junction 15. The area developed around the pottery industry, with terraced streets climbing hills that overlook the Trent Valley. Popular routes include the A520 into the city center and connections to Trentham's gardens and shopping village. The preserved pithead baths at nearby Chatterley Whitfield showcase original 1930s ceramic tilework from the local Potteries.
