Blithfield lies in central Staffordshire's countryside, reached via the B5013 and A51. Most visitors arrive from Birmingham (45 minutes south) or local Staffordshire towns for day trips. The village centres around its enormous 1950s reservoir, one of the county's largest at over 800 acres.
