Blaxton is a small South Yorkshire village near the Nottinghamshire border, reached via the A614 from Doncaster 8km northeast. The A1(M) and M18 provide motorway access within 15 minutes. Popular routes include short trips to neighbouring Finningley and connections through the flat agricultural countryside. The village features one of England's few working traditional windmills, still grinding flour commercially after two centuries.
