Blarney sits 10 kilometres northwest of Cork city, drawing visitors to kiss the legendary stone atop its 15th-century castle. The N20 gets you there in 15 minutes from Cork, while the M8 from Dublin takes about 2.5 hours. Cork Airport is 20 kilometres southeast. The area has around 100 fast EV charging points for electric cars. To kiss the Blarney Stone, you'll need to lie on your back and lean backward over a sheer drop at the top of the castle tower, which supposedly grants the gift of eloquence.
