Blaney is a small Fermanagh settlement reached via the A32 from Enniskillen, about 14km northwest. The A4 from Belfast connects through Dungannon, roughly 90 minutes' drive. Local routes serve Derrygonnelly and Monea within a few kilometres. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 20 fast chargers in the area. The village name derives from the Irish for "little flower," aptly describing the wildflower meadows that carpet the surrounding drumlins each spring.
