Blagrove forms part of Swindon's western suburbs, reached via the A4259 from the town centre or Junction 15 of the M4. The area developed as modern housing estates from the 1980s onwards, sitting close to Lydiard Country Park with its historic house containing remarkable family portraits spanning four centuries.
