Blacktoft lies in the flat East Riding countryside near the Humber Estuary, reached via the M62 and A614 through Howden, or the A63 from Hull. The village sits amongst agricultural land and drainage channels typical of this low-lying region, with about 25 EV charging points available in the wider area. It's home to Blacktoft Sands RSPB Reserve, famous for its winter bittern population.
